Operation Clothing Drop Inc. OPCD .is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the state of New York  that provides vital resources for homeless veterans to reintegrate back into society.  While our basic resources include food, clothing, and housing,  OPCD also provides assistance with employment, placement in educational programs along with counseling services. Our Mission is to end veterans homelessness.

OPCD was established in 2014 by US Army Veteran Rowan Laidlaw to support and assist his fellow veterans who need the essentials to become a contributing member of society.  This passion has led him to research ways to help those in need on a consistent basis.  His research yielded the stunning revelation of the high number of  veterans requiring dire assistance.  Laidlaw believes the best way that he can give back to his brothers and sisters who served in combat is to get them back on their feet. "Everyone did not have things such as a family, resources, career or even a home when they came back," he said."

As military personnel, we sacrifice our lives for the freedom of the United States of America. No veteran should ever come back and live an impoverished life." Civilians are welcomed to add to the many hands needed to make this work possible. Veterans should also join in this opportunity to serve their fellow brave comrades in their transition into civilian life.  There is life after combat and we are here to provide that.
